Bart Legum has been appointed as one of two Vice Chairs of the Board of the Institute starting 1 January 2024, for a three-year year term. The SCC has an operational board consisting of a chairman, up to three vice-chairmen and up to twelve members. The Board’s role is to make decisions in accordance with the SCC Arbitration Rules. This may relate to the jurisdiction of the SCC, the appointment of arbitrators, challenge to arbitrators or a decision on the costs of the arbitration.
